Color Theory and Mixing 1

DESCRIPTION:
Using student grade paints we will begin with the primary colors then mix secondary and tertiary colors. Saturation, de-saturation, tints, tones and shades will also be discussed and explored (mixed).

Bring your supplies as needed to complete your work

DESCRIPTION:
Need help getting "unstuck" on a painting? Bring your work to class to receive some feedback and suggestions on how to take your work to the finishing point.
You may bring up to 2 paintings. We will do a round robin on your first piece and you will receive feedback and instruction for the next 2 hours.
After lunch we will give feedback on your second piece and you may choose which painting you will work on until the end of class.

Everyone is asked to contribute to the feedback sessions in a helpful manner. Learn the dialogue in discussing composition, focal point, color temperature, depth and more.
